Precision Outfitters offers guided fishing and hunting trips across Western Oregon, built for guests who want a hands-on outdoor experience led by a local guide with decades of knowledge. Owner and guide Cody Van Dell has been hunting and fishing in Oregon since childhood and brings over 20 years of experience to every trip. His focus is simple: provide well-planned outings that match the season, conditions, and goals of each group.

Fishing trips focus on salmon fishing along the Umpqua River, Siuslaw River, and nearby coastal waters. Trips launch from areas like Winchester Bay and Florence, depending on tides and fish movement. Guests can expect a practical, instruction-focused day on the water using light tackle, trolling methods, or specialized techniques based on the run. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided, and fish are cleaned, filleted, and bagged at the end of the trip. Families are welcome, and kids can participate with proper safety gear.

Hunting trips include guided deer, bear, elk, turkey, duck, and goose hunts throughout Lane County, Douglas County, and the Oregon Coast Range. Hunts are offered as multi-day packages or day trips depending on species and season. Precision Outfitters operates on a mix of public and private land, giving flexibility to adjust locations as conditions change. Firearms can be provided if needed, while archery hunters must bring their own equipment. Lunch is included on big game hunts, and harvested meat may be taken home.

Crabbing trips are also available as full-day outings and can be booked on their own or alongside fishing trips when seasons allow. These trips offer a relaxed pace and are a great option outside peak hunting seasons.

All guests are required to have valid Oregon fishing or hunting licenses, along with any necessary tags. Draw tag hunts are available by request and coordinated directly with the guide. Deposits are typically required to secure dates, with remaining balances due on the day of the trip. Precision Outfitters is committed to clear communication, flexible planning, and giving guests a productive day outdoors. Whether you are new to fishing or a seasoned hunter, trips are tailored to your comfort level and expectations. Meeting locations, daily plans, and tactics are adjusted as needed to keep days efficient and enjoyable.
